FC Vax

Description FC VAX is a water-in-oil-based, stable emulsion inactivated vaccine for protection against Fowl Cholera. The vaccine contains a high concentration of Pasteurella multocida organisms suspended in a stable oil emulsion. Indication FC VAX is recommended for the protection of commercial layers and breeders against Fowl Cholera. Administration And Dosage Inject each bird, at the point of lay, with 0.5 ml subcutaneously (in the mid-portion of the neck) or intramuscularly. When used at an early age, the dose may be adjusted accordingly.For breeder parents and commercial pullets, the first dose is recommended at 8–10 weeks of age, followed by a booster dose after 4–5 weeks.In endemic areas, breeders and layers may be vaccinated every three months. Directions For Use Allow the contents of the bottle to reach room temperature before use. Shake gently for 2 minutes if more than 4 hours have elapsed between the first and last use of the vaccine from any container. Use the entire contents after opening the bottle for the first time. Precautions Vaccinate only healthy birds. Birds to be vaccinated should not be weak, debilitated, or immunosuppressed. Do not market birds if they show swelling at the injection site. Market the birds at least three weeks after vaccination. Consult your veterinarian for further guidance on vaccination. Store in dark between 2°C – 8°C.
