In addition, it also crosses the blood-placenta barrier and blood-brain barrier.Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor, an enzyme produced by bacteria that destroys antibiotics.\r\n\r\nClass: Antibiotics (Cephalosporin 3rd generation).\r\n\r\n<strong>Indication \/ Uses:<\/strong>\r\nDermatological infections\r\nRespiratory tract infections\r\nUrinary tract infections\r\nBone and joint infections\r\nPyrexia\r\nPneumonia\r\nSurgical interventions\r\n\r\n<strong>Dosage and Administration \/ Directions for Use:<\/strong>\r\nDogs: 15 to 50 mg\/kg every 12 to 24 hours by intramuscular or intravenous route.\r\nCats: 25 to 50 mg\/kg every 12 hours by intramuscular or intravenous route.\r\n\r\n<strong>Precautions:<\/strong>\r\nIf any particles are visible in the vial after reconstitution or dissolving the contents, please do not use the solution and return it to the manufacturer for replacement.\r\nDissolve the contents of the vial in the sterile water for injection provided with the pack. Reconstitute and use immediately.\r\nNot for human use.
