Indications (for Dogs and Cats):
PetQuin tablets are indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in:
Alimentary, respiratory, and urogenital tracts
Skin and secondary wound infections
Otitis externa
Dosage and Administration:
Dosage: 5 mg/kg body weight
Frequency: Once daily (or can be divided into two doses given twice daily)
Duration: 3 to 10 days, with or without food
Directions for Use:
Use only as prescribed by the veterinarian.
Precautions:
Age Restrictions:
Dogs: Not recommended for dogs under 1 year of age (for large breeds, under 18 months)
Cats: Not recommended for cats under 8 weeks of age
Special Considerations:
Safety in breeding and pregnant animals has not been established.
Use with caution in epileptic animals.
Drug Interactions: Concurrent use with ciclosporin may reduce metabolism and increase the risk of nephrotoxicity.
